Who is responsible
The Voxelwright AI mod and this website were created by the company Penra.
Voxelwright AI is published by Adrien Pennetier, a sole trader trading as Penra (see the Legal notice). Adrien Pennetier is responsible for the personal data described on this page.

In short
- No advertising trackers and no cookies: the website only counts downloads and measures, anonymously, which pages are read (audience measurement). Both are described below.
- You can switch the audience measurement off at any time, with the switch in this policy or with the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal of your browser: nothing is measured then.
- Voxelwright AI is free and needs no account and no licence key: this website has no sign-in.
- When you click Download, a random identifier made in your browser is sent, once an hour at most, so that we can count how many different devices downloaded the mod. Our server keeps only a one-way hash of it.
- Your requests and your builds never go through a Voxelwright AI server: your own Claude Code sends them to Anthropic, under the terms of your Claude account.
- The voice mode works on your computer: your voice is never sent anywhere (only the text it recognises becomes a request, as if you had typed it).
What we keep
When you click Download
When you click a link that downloads the mod, your browser sends one small request to our database service, Supabase (the project is hosted in the European Union), with a random identifier and the version of the mod. The identifier is made in your browser from 128 random bits: it is not derived from your browser, your screen, your network or anything else about you. It is kept in your browser’s local storage (under the name voxelwright.device), next to the time of the last request (voxelwright.dl) and the day it was made (voxelwright.device.at); it is sent once an hour at most and replaced by a new random identifier after 13 months. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, nothing is sent and what was kept is erased. Nothing is sent to the database, and no identifier is stored, until you click Download.
Our server keeps only a one-way hash of the identifier (it cannot be turned back into the identifier), the date of the first and of the last download of that device, and the version of the mod: no IP address, no name and no e-mail address. We use it to count how many different devices downloaded the mod. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the project is used. The identifier stays on your device: you can erase it at any time by clearing the data of this website in your browser, and your device then counts as a new one the next time you download.
Like any request on the internet, this one shows your IP address to the database service. It is used only to limit abuse, for example a program sending a flood of requests, and it is kept for 15 minutes at most. The database service may also keep technical logs of the requests it receives, under its own policy.
When the mod looks for updates
About every minute while a world is open (every ten minutes otherwise), the mod downloads a small signed file from this website to learn whether a new version exists. The request carries no identifier, no account and no version; like any request to the website, our hosting provider sees your IP address (see Hosting logs). When you choose to update, the mod downloads the new version from this website and checks its fingerprint and signature first. The file can also carry a short message for every player and new model names for the model picker.
Your requests and your world
Your Minecraft worlds, your requests and your builds are not sent to us: no Voxelwright AI server receives them, and the mod never sends us your Minecraft name or anything else about your game. What leaves your computer goes through your own Claude Code, which the mod starts: it sends to Anthropic what you ask (typed, or turned into text by the voice mode) and what the AI reads in the game to build (for example your position, the blocks around you and your player name), under the terms of your Claude account and Anthropic’s privacy policy. So that Claude Code can talk to the game, the mod runs a small server on your own computer (127.0.0.1), reachable only from that computer.
When you use the voice mode
The voice mode turns what you say into text on your own computer, with a speech model that runs inside the mod. Your voice is not recorded to a file and never leaves your computer: no audio is sent to us or to anyone else. The text it recognises is then used as a request, like one you had typed (see above). The first time you use it, the mod downloads the speech model once from this website (a file of about 60 MB, or 190 MB for the more accurate model, which a Mac uses by default), checks its fingerprint and keeps it in the config/craftai-voice folder of your game. That download is an ordinary request to our hosting provider (see Hosting logs).
Hosting logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps technical logs of the requests made to the website, such as the IP address, the date and the page requested, to operate and secure the service. We do not use them to measure the audience (see “Audience measurement of this website” below).
Donations on Ko-fi
The Support link in the bar and the footer leads to Ko-fi (ko-fi.com), a service run by a third party, where donations are made. When you follow it you leave this website: Ko-fi’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the donation and to what you do there. This website sends nothing to Ko-fi. Donations are optional and give nothing in return.
Audience measurement of this website
To know which pages of the website are read and from where the visits come, so as to improve it, the website uses Vercel Web Analytics. It only measures visits to the website; the mod takes no part in it and sends us nothing (see below).
What is measured
- The time of the visit, the address of the page and the page you came from (the referrer).
- Your approximate location: country, region and city.
- The type of your device (computer, phone or tablet), your operating system and your browser, with their versions.
- The version of the measurement script.
No name, no e-mail address, no account, no cookie and no identifier shared with other websites are involved, and these data are not tied to a person or to an IP address. The statistics are aggregated: they say how many visits a page had, not who made them.
Who measures, and how
Vercel Inc., which already hosts the website, carries out the measurement on our behalf, as our processor. Its script is served from this website’s own address: your browser contacts no other website for it. To count visits without a cookie, Vercel recognises a visitor by a hash created from the request itself; this recognition is not kept permanently: it is discarded automatically after 24 hours.
Legal basis and duration
The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in knowing which pages are read, so as to improve the website. Vercel guarantees the statistics for the reporting window of the plan we use (between one month and 24 months, depending on the plan) and may keep them longer.
How to object
You can object at any time, and nothing is measured then: with the switch below, whose choice is kept in your browser’s local storage under the name voxelwright.analytics; with the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal of your browser, which this website honours; or with a content blocker. Without JavaScript, nothing is measured at all.
The mod
The mod is not concerned: it measures nothing and sends no statistics. The requests it makes to this website (the check for updates and the download of the speech model) are ordinary requests, described above.
Why we use your data
- To count how many different devices downloaded the mod (our legitimate interest).
- To know which pages of the website are read and from where, so as to improve it (our legitimate interest).
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. It uses no advertising; the audience measurement described above does not use cookies either, and the only other counting is that of downloads. It keeps in your browser’s local storage only the language you chose (voxelwright.lang), your choice if you switch the audience measurement off (voxelwright.analytics) and, once you click Download, the random identifier of your device (voxelwright.device), the time of the last registration (voxelwright.dl) and the day the identifier was made (voxelwright.device.at). You can erase all of it at any time by clearing the data of this website in your browser. The Support link leads to Ko-fi, which may set its own cookies, under its own policy.
Who else handles your data
The following services are involved. Each one only receives what its role requires.
- Vercel: hosting of the website and its audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics). It sees the IP address of every request in its technical logs.
- Supabase: the database of the download counter (the project is hosted in the European Union). It may keep technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, under its own policy.
- Ko-fi: donations, only if you choose to follow the Support link. It is a third party with its own privacy policy.
- Anthropic: your own Claude Code sends it your requests and what the AI reads in the game, under the terms of your Claude account. Voxelwright AI is not a party to that exchange.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. They then rely on the safeguards that the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Download counter: the hash of the identifier, the dates of the first and last download and the version are kept for 25 months after the last download from that device, then deleted automatically (the clean-up runs each time a download is registered), or earlier if you ask us to delete them.
- The IP address seen by the database service to limit abuse (kept only when a new device is counted): 15 minutes at most (the clean-up runs each time a download is registered).
- Audience measurement: the recognition of a visitor is discarded automatically after 24 hours; the statistics, which carry no identifier of a person, are kept by Vercel for the reporting window of our plan (between one month and 24 months, depending on the plan) and may be kept longer.
- Technical logs of the hosting provider: kept by Vercel, according to its own policy.
How we protect it
- All exchanges with the website and its database use HTTPS.
- The identifier is random and is never derived from you; the database stores only a hash of it.
- Access to the database is restricted by rules: the website only holds a public key, which gives no access to the stored data. Secrets are kept in the hosting project’s settings, never in the code.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, for its correction or its deletion, for the restriction of its use and for a copy of it in a usable format, and you can object to its use. Write to penra.contact@gmail.com: we answer within one month. The record of a device holds only a hash, so to find it we need the identifier kept in your browser (voxelwright.device): without it, we cannot tell which record, if any, is yours. To object to the audience measurement you do not need to write to us: use the switch in the section “Audience measurement of this website”, or the signal of your browser.
If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or to the data protection authority of your country.
Children
Voxelwright AI is not aimed at children under 15. If you are under 15 (the age of digital consent in France), use it only with the agreement of a parent or guardian. If you think a child’s data is held by us without such agreement, write to us and we will delete it.
